My teacher always told me that I would be a true photographer when my camera became an extension of my arm. I have been embracing that concept more and more. My camera stays with me and is on call for the moment that light glides across that shimmering, mirrored building perfectly. She is ready when a parade of turkeys pass before my car on a busy highway. Patiently awaiting, she is grabbed up when I see that backlit horse running through that field of daisies. There have been so many occasions that I wished I had my camera. Those days are over. She was with me when I saw this little red car placed perfectly atop of this van. |
